This is a great and empowering article WIll! Just the kind of information we need to talk realistically about nuclear power rather than treating it as the ultimate bogey man whilst we destroy ourselves with CO2 emissions. Great work! On the emissions: I just did a little research and discovered that petrol creates 3 times its own weight in CO which is quite remarkable. Part of the problem is people see exhaust smoke as so insubstantial but if you realize that your 60L fule tank creates over 150kg of CO2 it is quite a revelation! Imagine if that lay around on the ground (ironically harmlessly) we would be up in arms about all the CO2 cluttering up the place! I am going to write something about this.
